Iranian Parliament

The Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, also called the Iranian Parliament, the Iranian Majles or Majlis) is the unicameral national legislative body of Iran. The parliament currently consists of 290 representatives, an increase from the previous 270 seats since the 18 February 2000 election.
