Rastriya Swatantra Party

The Rastriya Swatantra Party is a centrist political party in Nepal. The party was running as a coalition partner in the Prachanda-led government with four cabinet ministries from 6 March 2024 to 12 July 2024. They won a landslide victory in the 2026 Nepalese general election, winning 182 of the 275 seats in the House of Representatives, up from a previous total of only 20 seats, a supermajority of almost ⅔ of the seats.
