Sharma Oli

Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli is a Nepalese politician who served three terms as the prime minister of Nepal, from 2015 to 2016, 2018 to 2021, and 2024 to 2025. He has been the chairman of the communist party CPN (UML) since 2014. Oli was Member of Parliament from 2017 to 2025. Oli's tenure in office has been controversial for frequent use of tongue-in-cheek remarks, hostility towards critics and the media, and accusations of fostering cronyism, corruption, nepotism and racism. After his government killed students during the anti-corruption Gen Z protests in 2025, he was overthrown from his post in government.
